The people you will actually meet on a Sunday morning.

David Cott

Senior Pastor

David Cott serves as the Pastor of Ringgold United Methodist Church, where he is dedicated to helping people grow in their relationship with God — whether they're exploring faith for the first time, seeking answers, or deepening their love and service to God and others. He lives in Ringgold with his wife Katie and their 65-pound lapdog, Max. A lifelong learner and creative spirit, David enjoys reading, hiking, woodworking and watercolour painting.

Sally Ensley

Assistant Pastor

Sally Ensley is our Minister of Care and Community. She connects with the sick and shut-in members of the church, fosters the power of prayer, and makes meaningful visits. Sally facilitates Bible and book studies, and is a cornerstone of our mission work — she has led over 75 mission trips, both locally and internationally. She lives in Ringgold and finds joy in her two grandchildren, Savanah and Jaice.

Kirsten Lankford

Director of Children's Ministries

Kirsten Lankford strives to make the church a safe and loving place for all children. Through creative storytelling and engaging activities, she helps kids learn about Jesus in fun and meaningful ways. Kirsten lives right next to the church with her husband Taylor. She enjoys walking the greenway, reading good books, and finding joy in the arts — especially music and dance.

Taylor Lankford

Executive Director of Worship and the Arts

Taylor Lankford navigates the planning and execution of each worship service, collaborating with teams across the church. With a deep understanding of the transformative power of the arts, he guides and cultivates creative ministries spanning music, dance, drama and visual arts. His passion lies in the belief that singing is a universal human birthright.

Kodi Lowry

Director of Preschool

As Director of r|Preschool, Kodi Lowry is committed to nurturing young hearts and minds. With a devotion to creating a secure, enjoyable and Christ-centered environment, Kodi oversees our preschool, fostering growth for children, staff and families alike. She lives with her husband Bradley and their sons Barrett and Beau.

Will Waldrop

Director of Cleanliness

Will Waldrop plays a vital role in ensuring our church is a welcoming space for worship and service. From Friday to Sunday, his work prepares the church for Sunday worship and the week ahead. Will believes that a church in need of cleaning is a church actively touched by God's children. Outside of his role he loves exercise, travelling, and participating in missions that serve others.
