Plan a Visit

If it's been years — or if it's never been — our 11am modern service was built with you in mind. Come as you are. No one will single you out.

Two services. Pick whichever sounds more like you.

Same church, same message, different room and different music. Neither one is the “real” service.

9am — Traditional Worship

Hymns led by piano and organ, affirmations of faith, guided prayer, and a relatable message. If you grew up in a Methodist church, this will feel like the one you remember.

11am — Modern Worship

Built to be beginner friendly. Modern worship music, relevant scripture, guided prayer, and a relatable message. If you’ve never been to church, or haven’t in years, start here. Most first-time guests choose this one.

Sunday School runs between the two, 10–11am, with classes for adults, youth, and kids. You’re welcome to come for one, two, or all three.

Your first Sunday, start to finish

  • Park. We’re at 7484 Nashville Street in historic downtown Ringgold. There’s a lot on site — pull in anywhere. If it’s full, street parking downtown is free on Sundays.
  • Come in the main doors. Someone will be at the door. Tell them it’s your first time and they’ll walk you where you need to go.
  • Check in your kids — or don’t. Nursery is available from birth through preschool age. Older kids are just as welcome to stay with you in worship. Either choice is normal here.
  • Sit wherever you want. Nobody owns a pew. Worship activity bags with a children’s bulletin, activity supplies and a snack are available if you need one.
  • Leave, or stay a while. You will not be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, or fill anything out.

The questions people actually ask

What should I wear?

Whatever you own. You’ll see suits at 9am and jeans at 11am, and nobody is counting. Wear the thing you’d be comfortable sitting in for an hour.

Will I be singled out as a visitor?

No. We won’t make you stand, raise your hand, or wear a name tag. If you want to be noticed, tell a greeter. If you don’t, you can come and go without anyone making a thing of it.

Is my child safe in the nursery?

Yes. Everyone working with children is cleared through a national background check and CPR/First Aid certified. We take contact information at check-in so we can reach you immediately during the service if we need to.

Do I have to give money?

No. An offering is collected during the service and you are welcome to pass it straight along. Giving is for people who call this church home, and even then it’s between them and God.

I’m not sure what I believe. Is that a problem?

No. “No Judgment. Just Jesus.” isn’t a slogan we picked because it sounded good. Plenty of people here are still working it out, including some who’ve been coming for decades.

I’m divorced / in recovery / estranged from church. Am I welcome?

Yes. Recovery at Ringgold meets here every Thursday at 6:30pm and has since 2013, for anyone dealing with addiction, grief, divorce, codependence, or debt. This is a church that already knows what a hard season looks like.

Can I just watch online first?

Absolutely, and a lot of people do. Both services stream live Sunday mornings and stay up afterward. Watch for a month before you come if that’s what you need.
